My Adventure Holiday
Okay so it’s not my usual choice but after a bit of pressure from on of my friends I was persuaded to forgo the standard beach holiday and go on one of these amazing Tanzania safari holidays. We’ve been planning on going on holiday together for a long time but he’s one of those people who I love the company of but if I took him to a place that was mostly preoccupied with people sitting around on a beach or by a pool doing pretty much nothing apart from sunning yourself and drinking cocktails he’d start to get really fidgety. I wouldn’t be able to deal with that especially when it comes down to the fact that my holiday is usually about relaxing, surely that’s what a holiday should be? The wonderful thing about our trip to Tanzania was that we were able to compromise with both of our agendas. One day we were able to visit one of the most amazing sites I’ve ever seen, the summit of Kilimanjaro, but also Zanzibar is full of the most gorgeous beaches I was able to relax and do nothing for a day. I was rather tentative about taking a safari trip putting myself into a position of potential danger whilst looking at wild animals that I could quite easily see in the zoo didn’t really appeal to me at first but this has totally changed my way of thinking. There is something quite amazing about being able to see these animals in their natural environment that makes it particularly special.
