The Bahamas is a great destination for anyone
When traveling to the Bahamas you see more than you ever imagined. The pictures that are shown on postcards of the Bahamas do not do them justice. The water is such a clear blue that you can see right down to the bottom. The air is so crisp and wonderful. You can see nothing but blue sky when you look up. It is amazing, not to mention that perfect excuse to break out that designer beach towel!
When going into the markets you can find beautiful handmade crafts. They have bags, fans, figurines, and even hair clips for sale. The items that are for sale are usually very reasonably price and some are even one of a kind items. Some of the shops sell purses and hats that look almost identical to name brand products that sell for hundreds of dollars. You can get some of them for under fifty dollars.
After you are done shopping you may be hungry. You can get some delicious food in the Bahamas. They sell conchs that are wonderful. They put delicious spices on them and then barbecue them or fry them. You can buy them from carts on the streets. You can also wet your whistle at the little shops that sell mixed and virgin drinks in coconuts. They cut off the tops of the coconuts right in front of you on a tree stump with a machete. They also sell different flavors of beers. Some are very favorable and delicious and everything is very inexpensive.
You can also go on fabulous excursions for very fair prices. You an go snorkeling and see the beautiful fish. You can also get escorted to islands and enjoy the serenity of the beach. There are also excursions where you can go out fishing to catch huge fish with the help of very experienced fisherman that have all of the equipment you will need. The Bahamas have so much to offer that anyone and everyone can find some to do and will never get bored.
